Program(s) Name and Description: Criminal Justice

There are multiple certificates available.

Corrections: The certificate in the Corrections program is designed to prepare students for entry-level employment or advancement in the field of law enforcement. Qualified students may transfer to the Criminal Justice Associate of Applied Science degree program.

Law Enforcement: The certificate in the Law Enforcement program is designed to prepare students for entry-level employment or advancement in the field of law enforcement. Qualified students may transfer to the Criminal Justice Associate of Applied Science degree program.

Crime Scene Technician: The certificate in the Crime Scene Technician program is designed to prepare students for entry-level employment or advancement opportunities in the field of crime scene investigation. The program was developed and maintained in cooperation with the Maryland State Police, the Maryland Natural Resources Police, and local police agencies. Qualified students may transfer to the Criminal Justice Associate of Applied Arts degree program.

Natural Resources: The Natural Resources certificate program is designed to prepare students for entry-level employment or advancement in the field of law enforcement. Qualified students may transfer to the Criminal Justice Associate of Applied Science degree program.
