PURPOSE:
The Human Services program of study is designed to provide comprehensive training for paraprofessionals already employed in the human services field. The program will provide sufficient educational training to individuals who seek employment or who are upgrading their skills in the area of substance abuse/addiction.
OCCUPATIONAL GOALS:
Administrative Specialist, Counselor, Geriatrics Worker, Human Services Worker, Mental Health Associate, Residential Assistant.
PROGRAM:
Human Services courses comprise the major part of the program. Students will also take courses in related subjects and general education. Students should consult with an academic advisor in planning an appropriate program.
NOTE:
This program of study articulates with Salisbury University’s
Bachelor of Social Work program offered through the Eastern
Shore Higher Education Center. For more information, please
