PURPOSE:
The purpose of the Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree in Technical/Professional Studies is to allow students interested
in careers that require a variety of competencies to construct, with the assistance of an advisor, a flexible degree program that
will meet their career goals.
PROGRAM:
This program of study will enable students to combine courses from various disciplines to customize a program of study
that enables them to meet specific employment goals. Core technical/professional courses are selected from at least two disciplines that
will provide competence in the declared areas of study. Core requirements must be selected with the assistance of an advisor. Students
should consult with an academic advisor in planning an appropriate program.
