Physical Therapist Assistant Degree Program
The Physical Therapist Assistant AAS degree program prepares students to provide physical therapy services according to the plan of care developed by the physical therapist. Graduates are eligible to take the state licensing exam.
This program is offered through the Chesapeake Area Consortium for Higher Education. Students complete their general education course work at Chesapeake College, their professional training at Anne Arundel Community College, and their clinical internship locally. NOTICE: Enrollment is limited by the availability of clinical facilities. Meeting the program requirements does not guarantee admission into the program.
