Faculty Folders

In a recent study, we found out that students gained a clearer understanding about writing assignments, and
writing consultants could be more accountable to faculty when they had specific information available to them in Faculty Folders that are kept on file in the
Academic Support Center.
All full time and part-time faculty members are invited to create faculty folders. Many of the current files contain these items:
- Faculty Information Sheet**
- Course syllabi
- Writing assignment directions
- Additional clarification of writing assignments
- Writing assessment information or rubrics
- Sample papers, lab reports, samples of journal entries, research papers, sample papers with faculty comments
- The most frequently asked questions about assignments--and the answers!
You may include any information that would support your students' writing.
**Publications in the PDF format can be viewed, navigated
and printed from a computer using the freely available
Acrobat
Reader software from Adobe Systems, Inc.
