Faculty Services

The Academic Support Center offers these services to full and part-time faculty:

• Tours of the Academic Support Center.
• Classroom presentations about Academic Support Center services to students, APA and MLA format, Composing on the Computer, How to Take Essay Tests (We will design other presentations on any aspect of the writing process that you feel would benefit your students)
• Consultations to develop writing assignments or discuss how to assess writing
• Designing assignments to be carried out in the Academic Support Center
• Resources materials about writing
• Collaboration with the faculty member and Joan Seitzer in designing and implementing accommodations for students with disabilities
• Communication about consultations with your students
• Support for professional and personal writing projects
• Design grading rubrics for specific writing assignments
