Skipjacks avenge loss to Catonsville
Chesapeake takes out Cardinals in four games, takes 7th at CSM Invitational
LA PLATA – The Skipjacks (1-4) earned their first win of the season last Saturday, beating Community College Baltimore County-Catonsville in four games to claim seventh place in the College of Southern Maryland Invitational.
Chesapeake beat the Cardinals, 27-25, 17-25, 25-17 and 25-20. In doing so, the Skipjacks avenged last Thursday’s four-game loss to Catonsville.
The Skipjacks were swept by Potomac State College, CCBC-Essex, and Pitt/North Carolina in earlier-round action.
Del Tech-Terry Campus swept the Skipjacks Monday night in a non-conference encounter. The Skipjacks host Frederick Community College Thursday night at 7 p.m.
