Nationally ranked Howard blanks Skipjacks
Neuberth scores five goals as Dragons stay unbeaten in Maryland JuCo
COLUMBIA – David Neuberth scored five goals as Howard Community College, ranked eighth in the country in NJCAA Division III, rolled to an 11-0 men’s soccer win over visiting Chesapeake College on Tuesday.
Jose Leive added three goals, Mohamed Chehaina tallied twice, and Dawin Gullaume scored once for the first-place Dragons (12-2-1 overall, 10-0-1 league). Howard goalie Greg Pease stopped four shots to earn the shutout, including a penalty-kick save.
Chesapeake goalie Lucas Hayman had 10 saves for the Skipjacks (2-8, 2-6), who play at Cecil College (1-12, 1-9) Saturday at noon.
