Skipjacks drop games to AACC, Cecil
Chesapeake has lost six straight since starting 2-0
WYE MILLS – Prima Grover scored 22 points to lead four Pioneers into double figures as Anne Arundel Community College notched a 71-62 women’s basketball victory over Chesapeake College.
Nicole Grier (16 points), Nina Herron (13) and Jackie Webber (12) were the other double-digit scorers for Anne Arundel.
Ashleigh Jones’s double-double (game-high 24 points, 16 rebounds) led Chesapeake. Ravin Sterling added 11 points.
Cecil College 88, Chesapeake 37
NORTH EAST – Erin Pinckett scored a game-high 25 points Wednesday as the host Seahawks extended Chesapeake’s losing streak to six games.
Deja Acree had nine points and Ashleigh Jones added eight to pace the Skipjacks (2-6).
