Chesapeake College offers winter softball clinics
Hitting instruction to take place on four consecutive Saturdays, January 29 through February 19.

WYE MILLS – The Chesapeake College Softball Hitting Clinic will take place on four consecutive Saturdays to prepare local players ages 12 and older for their upcoming seasons.

The camp, under the direction of Skipjacks head women’s softball coach Durrie Hayes, will take place on January 29, February 5, February 12 and February 19. Campers choose either a 1-2 p.m. time slot or 2:15-3:15 p.m. time slot.

Cost for the camp is $80 per camper and covers all four sessions. Enrollment is limited. Registration forms may be found on the Chesapeake College website ( or can be completed at the College any time prior to the first clinic. Registration will be accepted on a first-paid basis until camps are full.

Players need to bring their bat and helmet with them if they have them one and wear flat-soled shoes. Bats and helmets will be available for those who don’t bring their own.

Checks should be made payable to Chesapeake College and paid at the firstmailed to: Chesapeake College Athletic Department, P.O. Box 8, Wye Mills, MD 21679, along with a completed registration form.
