Skipjacks drop fourth straight contest
Better balance allows Rockville to pull out 83-81 win
ROCKVILLE Dante Seraile and Alim Stewart each scored 14 points Wednesday night as five players reached double figures in Montgomery College/Rockville’s 83-81 men’s basketball victory over visiting Chesapeake College.
Rene Osman (12 points), Chris Gee (11) and Erick Satchell (10) were the other Knights in double figures. Raouf Osman added nine points and Garrett Witts had eight for Rockville (7-9 overall, 4-4 league).
Rocky Harris and Kevin Bonsu each scored 16 points for Chesapeake, but the Skipjacks (7-6, 2-4) lost their fourth straight game. The last two losses have been by a combined six points.
Delfawn Worrells scored 11 points to join Harris and Bonsu in double figures for Chesapeake.
The Skipjacks host CCBC-Dundalk Friday at 7 p.m. in the first of three straight home games.
Allegany 79, Chesapeake 75
CUMBERLAND Sophomore guard Casey Roberts had 19 points and nine assists Monday night as the Trojans avenged an early season loss to Chesapeake.
Rockeem Harris (four steals, three assists) scored a game-high 20 points for the Skipjacks. Akanni Salako added 17 points and Delfawn Worrells contributed 16 points.
