As business rises to meet the challenge of the global economy, administrative professionals are proud of their growing roles and expect to continue their training and skills in the years ahead.
Professional Secretaries Week, originating in 1952, is sponsored annually by the International Association of Administrative Professionals (IAAP) to call attention to the contributions of administrative support staff and to promote professional excellence. Professional Secretaries Day became Administrative Professionals Day, effective with the April 2000 observance. This annual observance has grown to become one of the world's largest Workplace observances.
All Upper Shore administrative professionals are invited to join in our annual celebration and day of professional development. As today’s (and tomorrow’s) administrative professionals' roles evolve and they are given increased responsibilities this is a great opportunity for the employer to say “Thank you for a job well done.”
