The Chesapeake College Division of Continuing Education & Workforce Training specializes in meeting the training needs of employers throughout the region as well as providing lifelong learning opportunities for the general public. A wide range of courses to upgrade skills, develop new skills, or just for special interest are offered throughout the year at locations in Caroline, Dorchester, Kent, Queen Anne's and Talbot counties.
Annually, we have more than 17,000 registrations in non-credit courses. The College offers people a community resource for exploring new cultural, educational and social experiences. We can provide certificates of completion; continuing education units (CEU's) and preparation for professional certification in such areas as Nursing Assistant and other health related occupations, A+, Cisco, Truck Driving, Welding, and more.

Advanced Technology Center
Hundreds of training partnerships have been forged with area businesses since the Upper Shore Advanced Technology Center at Chesapeake College was created. Organizations served range from large and small manufacturing firms to service companies and community organizations.
The Advanced Technology Courses and training programs are designed to help companies and individuals develop a competitive edge in today's global economy. Industry focus areas for the ATC include: Manufacturing, Industrial Maintenance and Tourism.

This membership organization of manufacturing, technology, commercial firms, organizations and community groups is located at Chesapeake College and serves counties throughout the Upper Shore of Maryland. Its mission is to stimulate the development of a technology forum for the business community.
