Career & Professional Studies Administrative Associate/Data Retrieval Specialist

DescriptionProvides administrative support to the Dean for Career & Professional Studies (C&PS), faculty, and adjunct faculty for the C&PS division. Provides data reporting support for the Division of Academic Affairs administrators and faculty. The C&PS Administrative Associate acts as facilitator of information and data between the Dean, other administrators, and faculty members within the Division and gathers, formats, and presents information on scheduling, textbooks, budget tracking, and various other related duties for the Dean. Assists in preparing required data inquiries, retrieving data from a variety of systems and generating reports for Academic Affairs administrators and faculty. Serves as the Datatel "super user" for the Academic Affairs division. Serves as the Maryland On-line (MOL) liaison for the college. Additionally, this person supports the secretarial requests of full-time faculty members and numerous associate faculty members. This person will assist students with initiating applications for independent studies, credit by exam, etc. and will be a central contact person for students, visitors, faculty, and adjunct faculty to assist in directing and facilitating as needed. RequirementsHigh School diploma. Associate Degree preferred. Five (5) years as an administrative support person at a similar level. Ability to operate standard equipment, type with speed and accuracy, operate software utilized by the college at an advanced level including Microsoft Office Suite, Datatel Colleague Data Systems, Informer Reports, and Qualtrics Survey system. Communicate effectively orally and in written form, ability to maintain accurate files and records.
