MDCCC AmeriCorps VISTA - Reach Out Reach Up Coordinator

DescriptionChesapeake College's MDCCC AmeriCorps VISTA member will develop the infrastructure for and begin implementation of Reach Out Reach Up's efforts to engage the low-income adult learner community. Specifically, the member will develop a progressive outreach process; engage adult learner advisors/ambassadors; create adult-learner-focused college access outreach materials with relatable imaging and messaging; identify key outreach locations to serve as AccessED Hubs where outreach efforts will be directed; develop a schedule of informational sessions, workshops and college access material distribution; and create a tracking database to monitor adult learners' involvement in and progress through the established adult learner outreach process.

This position will be filled by an AmeriCorps MDCCC AmeriCorps VISTA member. To qualify for AmeriCorps MDCCC AmeriCorps VISTA, you must be a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, or lawful permanent resident, be team-oriented, and be willing to take on a wide range of challenges. Once chosen for this position, if not already a MDCCC AmeriCorps VISTA member, you must go through the necessary paperwork to become a MDCCC AmeriCorps VISTA member.
