ESHEC brings higher education to your doorstep.

From bachelor’s to doctoral programs, ESHEC partners with institutions like Salisbury and UMES to offer courses on Chesapeake College’s Wye Mills campus.

Ever since I was in the third grade, I always wanted to become a teacher. I don't know what I would have done with work and going to school full-time if Salisbury University did not have its elementary education degree program at the Eastern Shore Higher Education Center.

The ESHEC plays a key role in the educational and economic development of the upper Eastern Shore by providing access to area residents to baccalaureate, master’s, and doctoral degrees from four-year partnering institutions. By supporting and providing on-going high quality opportunities for learning, the ESHEC enhances both the employment options and overall quality of life for the citizens and workers on Maryland’s Upper Eastern Shore.

Please contact the home institution to complete the application and registration process. Students must have an Associate of Arts degree and/or meet program entrance requirements in order to qualify for bachelor’s degree programs. There must be sufficient enrollment in each class in order for the institution to offer the courses listed. The schedules listed on the home university or college website will be official. Please check for any changes or cancellations on the website of the university or college offering the course.
