QUESTIONS
How many books may I check out?
You
may borrow up to six books on one subject.
Where is your card catalog?
Our catalog is on computer and is located to the
left as your enter the LRC. You may also access it on
the Web.
How long may I keep the materials I borrow?
A
book or video may be borrowed for two weeks from the date
you check it out and may be renewed if nobody is waiting for
it. You may not renew materials over the phone during
final exam week. Materials on reserve may be checked
out only for a specified period of time, or some cases may
not be checked out at all.
Can I check out magazines?
Sorry, no periodicals may be checked out.
You may make copies of the articles on the copier for
just .10¢ per copy. Chesapeake
College students may access and print from our online
periodical databases free of charge. Contact the
LRC for passwords.
Do you carry textbooks?
Very
few. You will need to purchase your texts at the
bookstore.
