Mathematics Professor Kamal Hennayake piloted a project this year to help students learn while easing their financial strains.
Scholarship donors and recipients were brought together at Chesapeake's annual Scholarship Luncheon on Nov. 18. Chesapeake's donors include businesses, community service organizations, charitable foundations, families and individuals.
Officials of the college and Corsica River recently signed a new Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to provide students access to counseling, psychotherapy, crisis intervention and medication management, as appropriate. Both organizations have identified contact people to manage the relationship, according to officials involved with the relationship.
Chesapeake College announces the upcoming construction of a solar array. This will be another step forward for our emerging sustainability curriculum.
