Chesapeake women to host national qualifier

Chesapeake College has been selected to host next year’s Region XX tournament. Chesapeake Athletics Director Frank Szymanski said the college had multiple reasons for seeking to host the regional in the $36 million Health Professions and Athletics Center that will open in August.

Katie Lipsius, of Cambridge, uses struggle as motivation to succeed, and uses her academic success to help other students at Chesapeake College. The 20-year-old was selected to receive the John T. Harrison Award, Chesapeake's top student honor. Lipsius was one of the 363 students who graduated from Chesapeake.

Nursing Students Inducted into National Honor Society

The Chesapeake College MGW Nursing program, for the first time, inducted students into Alpha Delta Nu, the national honor society for associate degree nursing students.
