Chesapeake College recently raised nearly $4,000 for Hurricane Katrina relief efforts. Here Chesapeake´s Director of Resource Development Lauren Halterman, center, presents a donation check to Volunteer Development Director Betsy Tuttle and Jessica Anderson, emergency services administrator, at the American Red Cross office in Easton. The donation was raised through an internal campaign for faculty and staff, plus a student campaign coordinated by the Student Government Association. In addition, donations were also made to the Humane Society of the United States and to the relatives of a Chesapeake College employee who were displaced by Hurricane Katrina.
