Chesapeake Begins New Student Registration for Spring Semester 2006

WYE MILLS – Chesapeake College, on December 5, will begin new student registration for Spring Semester 2006 at the Wye Mills Campus and the Cambridge Center. Classes will start on Wednesday, Jan. 25.

Classes are scheduled in the morning, afternoon, and evening during the spring semester. Weekend classes are also available. Students who want to finish classes more quickly than the traditional semester may be interested in Chesapeake´s accelerated courses offered over seven or eight weeks. Topics range from general education courses to classes in career fields.

Chesapeake continues to expand the selection of Internet-based courses. Students may take these courses from their home or office computers. Internet-based courses include English Composition, World Literature I, Introduction to Business, General Psychology, Cultural Geography and Sociology.

Chesapeake advisors are available to answer questions about various program or career options.

Students may register at the Wye Mills Campus and the Cambridge Center Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and on Fridays 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The College will be closed for winter break from December 22 to January 3.

Wednesday, Jan. 4 Chesapeake College on-site registration from 3 to 5:30 p.m. at the Caroline County library in Denton.

Thursday, Jan. 5 Chesapeake College on-site registration from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Kent County library in Chestertown and the Queen Anne´s County library in Stevensville from 4 to 6 p.m.

Monday, Jan. 9 Chesapeake College on-site registration from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Talbot County Free Library in St. Michaels from 4 to 6 p.m. and in Easton from 4 to 6 p.m.

Tuesday, Jan. 10 Chesapeake College on-site registration from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Kent County Library in Chestertown.

Wednesday, Jan. 11 Chesapeake College on-site registration from 3 to 5:30 p.m. at the Caroline County library in Denton.

Thursday, Jan. 12 Chesapeake College on-site registration from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Queen Anne´s County library in Stevensville.

Monday, Jan. 16 Chesapeake College on-site registration from 4 to 6 p.m. in the Talbot Free Library in Easton.
