College Offers Low-Stress Holiday Shopping

WYE MILLS - Holiday shoppers can find special or even handmade gifts at the 17th Annual Chesapeake College Gift and Craft Fair on Wednesday, Dec. 5 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The show, sponsored by the Student Government Association, will be held in the Caroline College Center. The show is free and open to the general public.
Shoppers will browse for unique gifts in a friendly atmosphere filled with live holiday music and decorations. Musician Mark Rust will perform holiday music from around the world from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Wares for sale at the show include: dried floral arrangements, candles, soaps, candies, books, wearable art, stained glass, crochet, herbs, potpourri, handmade jewelry, ornaments, teas, wood art, dolls, wildlife art, baskets and pottery.
Baked goods and other holiday treats will be for sale in the college center. Hungry shoppers can also fortify themselves with lunch in the Skipjack Café. For more information, please call Amy Childs at 410-827-5826.
