Chesapeake College Announces Finalists for President

WYE MILLS The Presidential Search Advisory Committee of Chesapeake College on Tuesday named the three finalists for president of the regional community college. The Chesapeake College Board of Trustees will choose the next president from among the three finalists. The successful candidate will replace President Stuart M. Bounds, who retires in July.
"We were impressed by the quality of the applicant pool, very pleased with the caliber of the finalists, and are excited about having these finalists introduced to our college community," said Trustee James Maffitt, who is chair of the search advisory committee.
The three finalists will travel to Wye Mills for multiple interview sessions March 3-6. Once all of the interviews are complete, the Board will begin deliberations. The new president will be named in April.
The three finalists are listed below:
Present Position: Provost/Chief Academic Officer of Elizabethtown Community and Technical College (Kentucky) since 2004.
