Chesapeake College Offers Women's Workshop

WYE MILLS - The public is invited to attend a three-session workshop series for women at Chesapeake College in October. The sessions will be on October 13, 20 and 27 from 4 to 5:30 p.m. in the Todd Performing Arts Center/AUD 01. The series is designed for women, age 30 and older, who qualify for the New Horizons Program and who are current Chesapeake students or who are considering enrolling at Chesapeake.
The workshop format includes experiential activities and opportunities to share with other participants. Topics of the workshop include: Facing the challenges of returning to school, celebrating strengths and talents, and understanding the "inner critic".
The workshop series is free, but enrollment is limited to 10 women. A pre-interview and pre-registration is required. Participants are expected to attend all three sessions.
