How to Obtain a Tutor:
Come to Learning Resource Center, Room L-105 (Academic Support Center).
Sign up early in the semester.
Get application and return to Thomas Webb, Director, for processing and intake. Applications are available around campus, and at the Cambridge Center.
The Director will assign a tutor based upon availability.
Individual Tutoring Guidelines:
Tutoring is free to Student Support Services members who are enrolled at least half-time.
Tutoring is limited to two (2) courses each semester.
Tutoring is limited to two (2) hours per week per subject.
Tutoring priority is given to students in remedial and developmental courses along with general education courses.
Tutoring in subjects that are not general education courses is limited and may not be available. Check with the Director for information and availability of tutors.
Students requesting individual tutoring are required to sign a Tutor Contract. The Director will outline the Student Support Services policies concerning tutoring along with the responsibilities of the student during the intake interview.
