The Annual Chesapeake Choice Awards hosted by the Office of Student Life honors faculty members who have demonstrated dedication to teaching and success in quality instruction in such a brief time period.

The adjunct faculty member you nominate must demonstrate one or more of the following qualifications:

1. Communicates clearly.
2. Shows a knowledge, interest, and enthusiasm in the subject.
3. Presents subject in an organized manner and clearly defines students' responsibilities in the course.
4. Provides adequate and practical examples or illustrations of the subject.
5. Challenges students to increase their skills and develop creative processes.
6. Contributes to the college's educational, social, and cultural life as well as service to the community.
7. Is fair, personable, and responsible with students.
8. Possesses other exemplary attributes.
