The annual Chesapeake Choice Awards Ceremony hosted by the Office of Student Life honors one advisor from a club or organization who has excelled in leading and advising the club.

The advisor you nominate must demonstrate one or more of the following qualifications:

1. Communicates clearly.
2. Shows a knowledge, interest, and enthusiasm for the organization.
3. Present club goals in an organized manner and clearly defines the student leaders responsibilities.
4. Challenges students to increase their skills in becoming future leaders.
5. Contributes to the college's educational, social, and cultural life as well as service to the community.
6. Is personable, fair and responsible with students.
7. Possesses other exemplary attributes.
