Sail to success in your first semester at Chesapeake College!
At Chesapeake College, we want to make sure you make a connection to the great services we offer as early and as often as possible to help make your freshman year a success. SAIL, which stands for "Success and Interactive Learning," is a program designed to get you actively involved in the college experience from day one. We believe that your success is our success!
Enrolling in SAIL and charting a course for success pays off! Students who complete the SAIL program and finish the semester with a QPA (quality point average) of at least a 2.0 will receive a scholarship discount on their spring semester tuition at Chesapeake. How Do I Enroll in SAIL?
Once you have applied to the College and have taken the entry skills assessment, you will meet with an advisor in Student Affairs to discuss your program of study and to schedule your fall classes. If you sign up for at least six load hours you are eligible to enroll in SAIL. You can pick up a SAIL application form at the Dorchester Building Advising Center (D106) or the information desk. Simply fill out the form and return it c/o Jacki McArdle in Student Affairs to enroll in the program. Your application must be received by the second week of your first fall semester to be eligible for the SAIL program.
You can apply to SAIL online!
Or, you can use the printable SAIL Application (PDF). Paper applications should be delivered to Dana Bowser, C-201B, Jacki McArdle, D-106, or the information desk in the Dorchester Building.
