The Meoli Companies | McDonald's established a scholarship at Chesapeake College designed to help non-traditional students achieve their goals as they balance school, jobs and family responsibilities.
The following students received the scholarship: Jordan Dixon of Denton, Tess Dyott of Easton, Michelle Era of Linkwood and Brittany Kimbrew of Cambridge. The 2021-2022 recipients will each receive $500 this academic year to pursue their degrees.
“Education is one of the most fundamental elements of personal development and growth,” local McDonald’s Owner/Operator Michael Meoli said. “I’m honored to be able to give back to my community in a way that is so meaningful to our students. These individuals will help pave the way forward for many who follow in their footsteps.”
The Meoli Companies operates 25 McDonald’s restaurants throughout Delaware and Maryland’s Eastern Shore.
