BASIC SPANISH I
This continuing education course is designed for non Spanish speakers who must communicate with Spanish speakers in work situations. Instruction will focus on developing basic Spanish language skills and grammar concepts for the student. Topics include sentence construction, pronunciation, verb conjugating in the present tense, and building vocabulary skills. Students must register for CEW 021, CEW 022, and CEW 023. BASIC SPANISH II
This continuing education course is a continuation of Basic Spanish I and is designed for non Spanish speakers who must communicate with Spanish speakers in work situations. Using skills and concepts previously learned in Basic Spanish I, students will continue to develop and build Spanish fluency in understanding, speaking, reading and writing in Spanish II. Topics include grammatical constructions of the preterite tense, introduction of the imperfect tense, and expanding vocabulary by practicing reading, writing, and initiating basic conversations.

BASIC SPANISH CONVERSATION
This continuing education course is the final course in the Basic Spanish language series and is designed for non Spanish speakers who must communicate with Spanish speakers in work situations. In this course, students will have the opportunity to apply their newly acquired Spanish language skills by engaging in basic conversations with their classmates and native Spanish speakers. Topics include refining pronunciation skills, reviewing and practicing verb conjugations necessary to basic conversations, and practicing their fluency in understanding, speaking, writing, and reading with others.
