The Chesapeake College Department of Public Safety is hosting a free CRASE (Civilian Response to Active Shooter Events) Training for Chesapeake College Students, Faculty and Staff. The training is designed to help students, faculty and staff understand what they should do if confronted with an active shooter event at a campus. The presentation will provide strategies, guidance, and proven plans for surviving an active shooter event. Topics will include the history and prevalence of active shooter events, the role of law enforcement, and civilian response options. No registration is necessary.
