What you will learn
Tool Box Tune-Up
This advanced interactive training merges two of the most effective frameworks in early childhood education: Conscious Discipline and the Pyramid Model. Rather than viewing these approaches as separate initiatives, Tool Box Tune-Up bridges them together.
We combine the emotional intelligence, brain-state awareness, and relationship-building of Conscious Discipline with the systemic, tiered environmental structures and targeted social-emotional interventions of the Pyramid Model.
Participants will learn how to shift from reactive discipline to proactive leadership. This shift will upgrade their daily practices to build a safe, connected, and highly functional learning community.
Improving Transition Training
Explore how you, as a child care provider, can encourage smooth transitions and make them productive for children. We provide different tools to improve daily transition times, followed by the development of action plans.
Recognizing and Responding to Challenging Behaviors
Understand the importance of recognizing and identifying challenging behaviors. You will discuss what these behaviors look like, how to identify them and strategies to help to prevent them occurring.
