Stewarding Our Shared Stories: A Screening and An Intimate Conversation
August 28 @ 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm
Film Screening
As museums across the country commemorate the 10th anniversary of the National Museum of African American History and Culture, we’re bringing the conversation to Maryland’s Eastern Shore! Join us for “Stewarding Our Shared Stories: A Screening and An Intimate Conversation.”
Following a screening of August 28: A Day in the Life of a People, local museum and cultural leaders will explore how we preserve history, strengthen community, and work together to ensure Black stories continue to educate and inspire.
This event is free and open to the public.
Presented by the Kennard African American Cultural Heritage Center and Chesapeake Heartland: An African American Humanities Project
