Financing your education is an important life decision for you and your family. The Financial Aid Office at Chesapeake College can help you find the resources you need to afford your college education.

Investing in a college education is a major financial decision that may require you to look beyond your own resources for assistance. Chesapeake College students receive funds for college in the form of grants, work-study and scholarships. Awards are based on financial need and/or academic ability.

At the Financial Aid Office, we are committed to providing you with excellent customer service and information when you need it. We are sensitive to your financial concerns. We are pleased to act as your financial aid resource and information center, and look forward to helping you achieve your educational goals.

Our Institutional Scholarship Application is for credit, degree-seeking students to apply for ALL of our Institutional Scholarships that we offer here at Chesapeake College. If you are a new student or a returning student with at least a 2.5 GPA or higher, submit a Fall 2024/Spring 2025 Institutional Scholarship Application.
If you will be attending Chesapeake College in Fall 2024/Spring 2025 as a Dual Enrollment student, please contact our Admissions Office for funding resources. If you will be attending Chesapeake College for a Continuing Education Program (CDL, CNA/GNA, Dental Assistant, etc.), please research these funding resources. Do not complete the Institutional Scholarship Application if you are a Dual Enrollment or Continuing Education student.
In order to be considered for Maryland State Scholarships, the FAFSA must be completed by March 1 each year.
If you are a current student, please keep updated on your financial aid account in Financial Aid Self-Service through your MyCampus/Self-Service portal. If you are a new student, you will be sent an email notification from our office once we have received and reviewed the FAFSA. Please add finaid@chesapeake.edu to your Email Safe Senders list so you do not miss communication from our office.
