Prepare to fulfill the stated-administered knowledge requirement for your hazardous materials (H) endorsement.
Truck drivers with their CDLs are in-demand in the trucking industry, and being able to transport hazardous materials is a specialized driver credential that can result in more opportunities and higher driver pay. This course was created in collaboration with an approved training provider listed on Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA)’s Training Provider Registry (TPR).

  • Understanding the regulation of the transport or hazardous materials
  • Driver duties for the transport of hazmat, including emergency response in the event of a release
  • Packaging, loading and permitting required for hazmat transport
  • Driver obligations related to safe hazmat vehicle operation, such as vehicle inspections, fueling and passengers
  • Satisfies ELDT requirements for obtaining the hazmat (H) CDL endorsement
  • Prepares the student to take their state administered hazmat knowledge test
  • Enables the driver to haul specialized hazmat freight upon issuance of the endorsement

      First Things First…

      Payment is required at the time of registration for this program. This program may qualify for a scholarship (or voucher) from the Upper Shore Workforce Investment Board, or WIB. Please reach out to the WIB to inquire about funding, if necessary, before you start the registration process below. Payment can also be made by Employer Sponsorship Billing, Credit Card, Cash or Check.

      Submit Registration Form

      When you’ve received the registration form in your email, enter your information in the required fields, including your signature, and save the file on your computer.
