The Intermediate Civil 3D Training course is a hands-on, real-world, project-based course designed to teach students the fundamentals of AutoCAD and Civil 3D. The course prepares students to develop intermediate-level Civil 3D skills and create a set of construction documents.
The Intermediate Civil 3D Training course will help you to develop your intermediate-level Civil 3D skills and prepare you for the AutoCAD Civil 3D certification exam.

  • Recognize the surveying and mapping, transportation design, and land development elements and commands in the Civil 3D environment
  • Learn about survey and COGO points, point marker and label styles, point groups, linework code sets, figure prefix databases, survey imports, parcels, sites, parcel labels, TIN surfaces, surface labels, and surface analysis
  • Learn about alignments, surface profiles, design profiles and view windows, assemblies, corridors, intersections, sample lines, cross sections, and 3D visualization
  • Learn about drawing template files, data shortcuts, feature lines, grading groups, pipe networks, pressure networks, and paper space
  • Students will develop skills needed in one of the most in-demand software for civil construction in the architecture, engineering, and construction industry
  • Students will gain an understanding of Civil 3D at an intermediate level, and be prepared to take the Autodesk Certified Professional in Civil 3d for Infrastructure Design (ACP) Exam
  • Students will create a set of plans that demonstrates hands-on Civil 3D knowledge to future employers

      First Things First…

      Payment is required at the time of registration for this program. This program may qualify for a scholarship (or voucher) from the Upper Shore Workforce Investment Board, or WIB. Please reach out to the WIB to inquire about funding, if necessary, before you start the registration process below. Payment can also be made by Employer Sponsorship Billing, Credit Card, Cash or Check.

      Submit Registration Form

      When you’ve received the registration form in your email, enter your information in the required fields, including your signature, and save the file on your computer. To finalize the registration, return it either via fax (410-827-5852) or the secure link below. We cannot accept emailed forms.       *Note that we are not able to enroll you in a course until payment or voucher/scholarship is in place.
