Shore Photographer Exhibits in Cambridge Center
Award-winning photgrapher Cal Jackson is the nexct artist to be featured in the Leggett Gallery in the Chesapeake College Cambridge Center at 416 Race Street.
Cal Jackson developed an interest in art from at an early age. Mr. Jackson’s subjects are diverse, but his favorite is nature. He continues to conduct independent research to further refine his photographic skills. He enjoys travel and his work has sent him to many locations throughout the United States, Africa, Asia, Europe and the Pacific Islands. His love of travel is often reflected in his photography.
Mr. Jackson was recently selected as a finalist in an international photography competition for best macro photo of 2015. His work has been exhibited throughout the region and is frequently recognized at art competitions. His awards for photography include; Silver Heron, in the Kent Island Federation of Arts Show, Best Representation of the Eastern Shore, in the Heron Point Annual Open Juried Show, and other awards of excellence.
An opening reception will be held during the Cambridge Second Saturday event on Saturday, Feb. 13 from 5 to 6:30 p.m. The public is encouraged to attend this free event.
