Speakers Series Offers Lunchtime Learning
The Brown Bag Luncheon Speakers Series provides lifelong learning opportunities to residents of the Mid-Shore.
Developed through the Institute for Adult Learning, the series is open to the public and offers an opportunity to learn something new in a short, fun format. The topics are varied and presented by local experts.
Matthew Peters, Director of the Multicultural Resource Center, kicked off the fall series with a discussion about the immigrant community on the Eastern Shore.
On Monday, Nov. 6, Rudolaph Lukacovic, retired Department of Natural Resources fisheries biologist, will discuss the biology, history and impact of Menhaden in the Chesapeake Bay.
On Monday, Nov. 20 David Hughes, a native of the United Kingdom, will present “Life in London during WWII”
Bring your own lunch or buy something in our Skipjack Café to enjoy during the presentation. For more information about the Brown Bag Luncheon Series, please contact Anne White at [email protected]
