Chesapeake College Alumna Laura Heikes was recently honored as Talbot County Chamber of Commerce 2014 Business Woman of the Year. Heikes, who earned an associate’s degree from Chesapeake in 1989, is the senior vice president of branch administration for Talbot Bank.
