The Mobile Welding Training Lab was made possible through using Federal funds under award ED22HDQ3070110, with Maryland Department of Labor as recipient and Chesapeake College as subrecipient for a total subaward of $485,331. Federal funds for the Training Lab were also provided by the U.S. Department of Education under award P116Z230153. One hundred percent (100%) of award P116Z230153, which totals $1,200,000, is supported with federal funds; the award supports not only the welding trailer, but also other skilled trades. The Training Lab project and associated curricula do not necessarily represent the policy of Maryland Department of Labor, the U.S. Department of Commerce, or the U.S. Department of Education, and endorsement of these agencies should not be assumed. We appreciate the support of our partners in making workforce training more accessible.
