The Surgical Technology Club members are all students in the current cohort. The students host fundraisers in order to pay for expenses so they can attend the annual Association of Surgical Technologists’ Conference. They have hosted 50/50 raffles, raffled off baskets of crabs, hosted designer bag bingo events, and all sorts of other events. The conference is held in various locations around the country. Students have traveled to Denver and New Orleans, to name a few. They meet potential employers who recruit at these events, and have opportunities to participate in learning activities and social events.
