Chesapeake staff graduate Shore Leadership 2025
Chesapeake staff members Suzann Zdunowski and Daniel Miller (centered in photo) graduated from the 2025 Shore Leadership program.
Suzann noted, “I joined Shore Leadership because I wanted to challenge myself and step outside my usual work environment. The program’s focus on experiential learning and regional leadership really appealed to me.
“I’m leaving the program with a clearer sense of my leadership style, new strategies I can apply immediately, and a renewed excitement for contributing to Chesapeake’s mission.”
Daniel shared, “I have had the pleasure of participating in previous leadership courses, but was intrigued about Shore Leadership due to the fact that it was Eastern Shore community based, and not directly related to Education or higher education. I felt that the knowledge learned from a cohort of people outside of education could help me build not only my personal leadership mission, but help to build connections within the community.
“Now that I have completed Shore Leadership, I feel this opens the door to possibility. As many folks say, Chesapeake College is the best kept secret on the Eastern Shore. With building relationships in the community, we can now spread the word of how great Chesapeake really is and all the opportunity it holds for the citizens of our five county region. Hopefully after this experience Chesapeake will no longer be a secret and folks will now know all of the great services and support we offer!”
