Chesapeake to Announce New Ag Program

Chesapeake will announce its new Agriculture two-year degree program with a free screening of the award-winning film “Farmland” on Thursday, March 31 at 6:30 pm in the Todd Performing Arts Center. Doors will open at 5:30 pm.

Maryland Secretary of Agriculture Joseph Bartenfelder will deliver the opening remarks, and an array of farm-to-table refreshments will be available.

The Associate’s of Applied  Science Degree Program in Agriculture, pending approval from the Maryland Higher Education Commission, will feature areas of concentration in Production and Sustainability.
