For All Seasons, Chesapeake College create MOU
Chesapeake College and For All Seasons, Inc. have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to work together in providing services to student and employee victims of sexual assault and sexual violence.
The agreement includes access to For All Seasons’ 24-hour rape crisis hotline services along with a point of contact to facilitate referrals for confidential mental health, rape crisis and advocacy services. For All Seasons will also provide sexual assault education training, brochures and other written materials promoting For All Seasons’ services.
“We are very excited to enter this partnership with For All Seasons, which is a highly respected behavioral health and rape crisis center,” said Susan Cianchetta, Chesapeake College’s Title IX coordinator. “These services are invaluable to victims of sexual assault and sexual violence.”
Judy Gordon, the college’s deputy Title IX coordinator, will serve as Chesapeake’s primary contact with For All Seasons.
Beth Anne Langrell, executive director of For All Seasons, said her organization is pleased to be able to partner with the college.
“Chesapeake College recognizes the importance of supporting people who are dealing with the aftermath of sexual assault and sexual violence and we know Chesapeake will be an outstanding partner in this endeavor,” said Langrell, whose organization already has an MOU with Washington College to provide similar services.
Chesapeake will use multiple strategies to promote the partnership, including the college website and its student portal. The college already promotes For All Seasons’ 24-hour rape crisis hotline.
