Chesapeake College has invited law enforcement professionals from police and sheriff’s departments in all five Mid-Shore counties to be recognized at a men’s and women’s basketball doubleheader on Wednesday, Jan. 11.

All local law enforcement professionals from Caroline, Dorchester, Kent, Queen Anne’s and Talbot counties have been invited to attend the doubleheader against Frederick Community College, with the women’s game at 5 p.m. and the men’s game at 7 p.m.  Law enforcement professionals will receive free admission along with free hot dogs and drinks from the athletics concession staff.  Those officers present will also be recognized during halftime of the men’s game.

“Law enforcement professionals have a difficult and often dangerous job,” said Dr. Barbara Viniar, Chesapeake College’s president.  “We want to recognize their service to our community.”
